Come Spend the Day at Sleepy Hollow Farm!!

May 12, 2007

9:00 am til 3:00 pm

We will be hosting our 4th annual all day medicinal plant workshop:

Enhancing Small Farm Profitability

with Medicinal Plants

Sleepy Hollow Farm, Dalton, Ga. is pleased to host the 3rd Annual Enhancing Small Farm Profitability with Medicinal Plants workshop Saturday May 12, 2007 from 9 am till 3 pm.  Workshops in previous years have been a tremendous success and Randy and Cindi Beavers invite you to be their guest for another all day seminar devoted to medicinal plants and ways small growers can profit from their production

Medicinal plant production presents the small grower with an opportunity to increase farm efficiency and profitability through the use of currently idle forestland while at the same time providing a very desirable environmental benefit since many of these plants are currently endangered or threatened.  This workshop goes a step beyond cultivation by presenting ways small growers can work together to add value to their crops through organic certification, cooperative processing, product development, and even marketing.

Whether you are a farmer or landowner looking for ways to produce revenue from idle land or just have a desire to learn more about medicinal plants, Enhancing Small Farm Profitability with Medicinal Plants will be a benefit to you!

Information presented will include:
